HONOR X9a was just teased by the brand's official Malaysian Facebook page. It doesn't say much about the device's specs but we have an idea.

HONOR X9a is coming soon in Malaysia, may come in PH?

The HONOR X9a teaser shows its back design. Interestingly, it looks a lot like the HONOR X40 launched in China back in September. It has the same circular camera bump at the back and curved edges. So, if it is indeed a rebranded HONOR X40, the X9a could have a 6.67-inch 2400 x 1080 FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 800 nits brightness, and 10-bit color depth support. It should also have a punch-hole cutout and curved edges.

Inside, it should have the 6nm 2.2GHz Snapdragon 695 5G octa-core processor, Adreno 619 GPU, up to 8GB, up to 256GB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 40W fast charging. The circular camera module will have a triple-camera setup with a 50MP f/1.8 main camera + 2MP macro + 2MP depth sensors. It should also have an 8MP selfie camera.

Now, take this with a grain of salt. These specs are merely assumptions if it is indeed a rebranded HONOR X40 for the SEA market. Speaking of, since this is releasing in Malaysia soon, this has a high chance of releasing in the Philippines as well.

We will update you once more information becomes available.

What do you guys think?
