HTC revealed the Wildfire E3 Lite last week, and now they have a new device called the Wildfire E2 Play.
Similarly, it is also an entry-level phone featuring an X pattern around its back and a waterdrop notch display at the front with thick bezels.
The LCD screen has a size of 6.82 inches with HD+ resolution 20:9 aspect ratio and up to 450 nits of peak brightness.
Inside, it is equipped with UNISOC T606 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, 4,600mAh battery with 10W charging.
For cameras, it uses 48MP rear camera paired with 2MP depth and 2MP macro. While the front-facing shooter has 8MP for selfies.
Other features noted were the 3.5mm audio jack, rear-mounted fingerprint reader, 4G VoLTE, WiFi (2.4/5GHz) Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS.
For software, the phone runs Android 12 out of the box.
Currently, there are no pricing details revealed yet but it is expected to arrive in Africa soon.
