HUAWEI's newest launch event today revealed two more smartphones under the nova 11 Series on top of the Ultra variant.
All models highlight OLED Kunlun glass-protected screens, a 4G version of Snapdragon 778G with Adreno 640L GPU, and the first midrange devices to feature satellite messaging.
Let's start first with the base model which is the nova 11. The smartphone came in a HUAWEI P50-inspired design in Green, Black, White, and Gold colorways.
The phone boasts a 6.7-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an option for Kunlun glass protection.
Inside, the SD778G chipset is paired with up to 512GB of memory, and a 4,500mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
On the camera side, it features 50MP f/1,9 for the main coupled with 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle sensor and laser AF. For selfies, it uses a huge 60MP shooter.
Meanwhile, the higher variant called the nova 11 Pro features a slightly bigger 6.78-inch OLED screen with 2652 x 1200 resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also features an option for the Kunlun glass if the user wants further protection on their screen.
The processor, storage options, and the battery is similar to the base model, however, the charging speed is upgraded to 100W this time.
For cameras, it still has a 50MP primary shooter and 8MP ultrawide snapper but this time they added another 2MP macro helping.
Also, the selfie shooter gets a 60MP main + 8MP ultra-wide shooter with telephoto capability of 2x optical and 5x digital.
The two devices also run HUAWEI's HarmonyOS and it is also worth noting that their satellite messaging is one-way only unlike the two-way on the Ultra variant.
