Apart from the nova 11 Series, HUAWEI also revealed a new laptop under the MateBook lineup.
The machine features a similar aluminum body in a sleek and lightweight design just like its predecessors. It is only 18.4mm thin and weighs 1.7kg.
Its screen boasts a 16-inch LCD (IPS) with 1920 x 1200 resolution and 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, 16:10 aspect ratio, 100 percent sRGB color gamut, TUV Rheinland low blue light eye care protection certification, and DC dimming without flicker.
Inside, the HUAWEI MateBook D 16 is equipped with up to a 13th Gen Core-i9 processor. The top variant has i9-13900H with 14 cores, 20 threads, and a 5.4GHz boost clock.
That chip is paired with LPDDR4X dual-channel RAM and PCIe NVME SSD for faster software interactions.
Other features noted are the soft press keyboard with a num pad with a 1.5mm key travel and water-resistant markings.
In terms of connectivity, HUAWEI boasts that it has new antenna tech that can achieve ultra-long-distance connection by up to 279 meters and greatly enhance network connection feats.

HUAWEI's new laptop pre-sale begins today in China while the open sale will start on May 8. No word yet for PH availability as of this writing so stay tuned.
