ZTE announced a new entry-level smartphone in China featuring a UNISOC chip and a high refresh rate screen.

ZTE Yuanhang 40 launched!

Despite being a budget phone, ZTE adopted a HUAWEI Mate 50-like design on its back with that huge camera island and plain colored rear cover. Speaking of which it comes in Pink, Green, and Black colorways.

At the front, it uses a 6.52-inch LCD (IPS) screen with a resolution of 1600 x 760, 90Hz refresh rate, and 83 percent NTSC color gamut, while it also comes with low blue light certification.

Inside, the phone uses a 6nm 2.2GHz UNISOC T760 processor with Mali G57-MP4 GPU paired with 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB memory space.

For battery, it comes with a 4,000mAh size and charges using USB-C and standard 10W charging.

For cameras, it uses a 13MP main shooter and an LED flash. However, the rest looks like a dummy to make it look like a triple-cam phone. At the front, it uses a 5MP sensor for selfies.

While connectivity features aren't mentioned, it is likely to have a 5G, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

As for software, the phone runs Android 13 with MyOS 13 skin on top.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

ZTE Yuanhang 40 4GB/64GB - CNY 899 (around PHP 7.2K)
ZTE Yuanhang 40 4GB/128GB - CNY 999 (around PHP 8K)
ZTE Yuanhang 40 6GB/128GB - CNY 1,099 (around PHP 8.8K)

As of this writing, the phone is now available in China however there's no statement regarding global availability from ZTE. We will let you know once there's news about it
