Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 legit looking press render leaks, design and minor changes revealed!
Alleged renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5

Minimal external changes?

Samsung is expected to unveil its next generation of foldable at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Seoul on July 26. The launch date was previously revealed ahead of the official announcement by MySmartPrice. Recently, MySmartPrice received anonymously alleged press renders of the unannounced Galaxy Z Fold5.

In the same report, MySmartPrice describes the render of the alleged new flagship foldable will come in a new Blue color option. Below the device is the S-Pen which could be sold separately. The website comments that the microphone, speaker and USB-C placements are similar to the previous generation.

The rear camera module is observed to protrude more and the LED flash was moved from the bottom to the side of the module. The bezels of the inner screen also seem to be slimmer when compared to the Galaxy Z Fold4.

Could this mean that the Galaxy Z Fold5 will pull a Galaxy S23 Ultra where there were minor external changes but major impactful changes under the hood?

The new flagship foldable is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 4,400mAh battery, 45W fast wired charging, and 25W fast wireless charging. It is expected to come with an inner 7.6-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a QHD+ resolution, and a new water drop hinge design while being protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The outer screen is expected to be a 6.2-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution. At the back are a 50MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide, and a 10MP 2x telephoto camera with an LED flash. It should also come with a 12MP selfie camera on the cover screen and on the inner screen.

Take this information with a grain of salt until Samsung's official announcement this coming July.

What do you guys think?
