HONOR Magic5 Pro launched in PH: Triple 50MP cameras, 120Hz OLED and SD8G2, PHP 59,990 price tag!

Right on schedule HONOR Philippines releases its newest high-end device with beastly camera features in the country.

It's one of the most powerful camera phones on the market 

As its main spotlight, the phone features a legit triple 50MP rear camera. It was even the former rank 1 camera phone in the DxOMark ratings with a score of 152 points overall.

Unboxed

The main shooter has a customized 50MP f/1.8 1/1.56 sensor with OIS + 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide angle (122-degrees) + 50MP f/3.0 IMX858 periscope module with 3.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom + an LED flash. All of these are enclosed with a huge circular camera bump.

At the front, the phone has a 6.81-inch OLED LTPO screen with 120Hz dynamic refresh rate, 2848 x 1312 resolution at 461 ppi, 480Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, and up to 1,100 nits of max brightness.

It's a BEAST

Powering the device is the 4nm 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core processor, paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB storage UFS 4.0 storage, 5,100mAh battery with USB-C 66W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging.

For selfies, the Magic5 Pro features 12MP f/2.4 ultra-wide selfie shooter and a 3D depth sensor.

Other features noted are the IP68 rating, 5G, 4G, WiFi 6, GPS, NFC, OTG, and DP 1.2 support, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 13 with Magic UI 7.1.
