At the MWC 2023 event in Barcelona, HONOR recently introduced the Magic5 Pro, the company's newest top-of-the-line smartphone. AND, camera testing authority DxOMark is calling it the best mobile phone camera yet. |

DxOMark shared that the device achieved a Photo score of 154, a Bokeh score of 80, a Preview score of 74, a Zoom score of 156, and a Video score of 144 for an average rating of 152 points.

At 152, the HONOR Magic5 Pro bested the HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro with 149 points for the highest-rated camera phone title. The HONOR Magic5 Pro also got the top scores for Photo, Bokeh, and Zoom. |

For videos, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is still the king with 149 points. Nevertheless, its 144 Video score is still among the highest for Android phones.
According to DxOMark, the said handset is excellent for photographing family and friends due to its accurate skin tones and high details, fast and accurate autofocus even in challenging light conditions, excellent low light imaging, and great zoom performance at all ranges, among others.

It also takes the No. 1 spot in the photo ranking, thanks to outstanding photo results across all light levels. In our tests, the Magic5 Pro shone particularly in our Friends and Family use case, using fast shutter speeds to freeze subjects in motion while capturing excellent detail and keeping noise levels low.
To recap, the high-end camera phone uses a customized 50MP f/1.8 1/1.56 sensor with OIS + 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide angle (122-degrees) + 50MP f/3.0 IMX858 periscope module with 3.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.
DxO has yet to reveal its selfie scores.
