From 50 to 108MP?

Back in June 2023, realme Philippines introduced the original realme C53 with a price tag of PHP 7,999. In our first impressions, we enjoyed the color, super-slim design, 50MP rear camera and the 33W SUPERVOOC fast wired charging.

A few months later, the smartphone manufacturer introduced a new variant. The new one comes with a 6.74-inch IPS LCD screen with a 1600 x 720 resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 560 nits peak brightness.

Inside the upcoming model are the 12nm UNISOC T612 octa-core processor, Mali-G57 GPU, 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB of storage, microSD card expansion, dual nanoSIM tray, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

At the back is the 108MP f/1.8 main camera with depth sensor and LED flash while in front is the 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
