Proceeds to go to charity

In a post, Musk said on his X account that he has been training for the brawl.

Am lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight, he said.

Don't have time to work out, so I just bring them to work, he added.

In another post, he then said the fight will be live-streamed on X and that "all proceeds will go to charity for veterans."

No other details about the fights were provided.

On Threads, which is under Meta, Zuckerberg replied by saying "Shouldn’t we use a more reliable platform that can actually raise money for charity?"

He also said that he is ready and suggested Aug. 26 initially, but Musk has yet to confirm.

The fight between Musk and Zuckerberg was first brought up in June when the former said he is up for a cage match if the latter is.

Zuckerberg did not back down then by saying "send me location."

Musk, 51, has the upper hand over Zuckerberg in terms of physical size. The former has also talked about being in "real hard-core street fights" when he was growing up in South Africa.

Meanwhile, Zuckerberg, 39, is an aspirational MMA fighter who is already winning Jiu-Jitsu tournaments. He also said he completed the grueling "Murph Challenge" workout in just under 40 minutes.

Are you looking forward to this fight?
