An affordable curved screen experience?

The said phone is called the itel S23+. From the looks of it, the device features gradient color choices of Elemental Blue or Lake Cyan creating a beautiful effect on its rear cover. You will also notice shiny frames on the side while there are also etched markings at the top of the phone for added premium vibes. Although it is unclear whether it uses plastic or metal material on the frames.

The star of the show is the 6.78-inch FHD+ 59-degree curved AMOLED panel which marks the brand's first-ever curved display. Additionally, it is even protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The rest are 99 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 400,000:1 contrast ratio, 93 percent, and 500 nits of peak brightness.

Inside, it is powered by a 2.0GHz 12nm UNISOC T616 8-core chip with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM + 8GB virtual RAM, and 256GB storage.

It also comes with a 5,000mAh battery and charges using an 18W fast charger.

When it comes to cameras, it uses a 50MP primary shooter + 2MP depth helper. At the front, it is equipped with a 32MP sensor for your selfies.

Another feature noted is the In-Display fingerprint sensor. It also has software features like the Dynamic Bar (Dynamic-Island) for added notifications and functions. While itel also includes the GPT AI assistant "Hi, Aivana" which users can utilize if they want to ask or search for something.

The phone gets connectivity features like the 4G LTE, WiFi 5 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, and even NFC.

As for OS, the phone runs Android 13 with itelOS 13 skin on top.

Unfortunately, there's no official price as of the moment and it will first arrive in the African country "Ethiopia". Considering itel's reputation in pricing we can expect the phone to be affordable for the masses.
