realme in Davao today told team GIZGUIDE that the C51 is coming to the Philippines soon.

New realme budget champ?

First announced in Taiwan, the realme C51 is the company's newest budget smartphone in the country boasting stylish looks, a smooth display, a capable primary camera, and a large battery capacity with fast charging. 

In particular, the handset features a two-tone "Stylish Glittering Design" with a boxy frame in Mint Green and Carbon Black colorways.

Key features of the realme C51

In front, it is packed with a 6.74-inch LCD (IPS) display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and HD+ resolution at 260 ppi at 560 nits peak brightness and 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also has a U-shaped notch where you will find its 5MP selfie shooter. This also has realme's Mini Capsule tech that functions like Apple's Dynamic Island for charging notifications.

Under the hood, it uses the 1.82GHz 12nm UNISOC T612 octa-core processor, Mali-G57 GPU, 3GB or 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB or 128GB expandable internal storage, and 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C with 33W SUPERVOOC that can charge the device from 0 to 50 percent in just 28 minutes.

The 128GB model also has up to 4GB virtual RAM mode for a total of 8GB Dynamic RAM.

For cameras, it is equipped with a 50MP f/1.8 AF main camera paired with a depth sensor. One cool thing here is it has a Night Mode function despite being a budget smartphone.

The handset also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 150 percent UltraBoom Speaker, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, and Android 13 OS with realme UI T Edition OS.
