DxOMark: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 receives a camera score of 127 points

Apart from the Z Fold5, testing laboratory DxOMark revealed the camera rating of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 (PHP 64,990 starting price).

At DxOMark, the device received a Photo score of 132, a Bokeh score of 60, a Preview score of 65, a Zoom score of 95, and a Video Score of 128. The average it received is 127 points or just 1 point below the Galaxy Z Fold5.

It is the 45th-best smartphone camera or the 3rd-best foldable smartphone camera that the labs have tested. The Z Flip 5 

The laboratory said that it takes images with good exposure and wide dynamic range, accurate white balance in daylight and indoors, good texture with the ultra-wide camera, fast and stable photo and video autofocus, and effective stabilization, among others.

However, it has frequent white balance casts especially in low light, noise in photos in most conditions, and lack of a dedicated tele lens to name a few.

Still, DxO lauds that it showed some noticeable improvements over its predecessor Z Flip4. It is also said to be a good option for capturing daily life around you.

To recap, the 
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 is equipped with a pair of 12MP cameras at the back. One of them is the Wide sensor with AF and OIS while the other one is an 123-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor.

The laboratory has yet to publish the score for its 10MP selfie shooter.
