Apple iMac M3 launched: 24-inch 4.5K Retina, up to 24GB memory, and up to 2TB SSD, price starting at 84,990

Alongside, the launch of new M3 Series chips and MacBook Pro, Apple also unveiled an AIO PC also known as the iMac 2023.

Apple iMac M3 launched!

This computer features the base version of the new Apple M3 with options of 8-core CPU, GPU combo, or 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU combo. There are also selections of 8GB, 16GB, 24GB RAM, 256GB/512GB/2TB SSD.

Minimalist design

Again the new M3 chips are the cream of the crop here with 2x faster than the M1 iMac, 4x faster than the 21.5-inch model, and 2.5x faster than the 27-inch iMac models.

The features

For specifics, the base M3 has 25 billion transistors and is made of 3nm technology. It also has a 16-core Neural Engine for AI Processing, hardware-accelerated ray tracing, and mesh shading and uses Dynamic Caching.

When it comes to the screen, it has a 24-inch with 4.5K 4480 x 2250 Retina Display with 500 nits of peak brightness.

The M3 iMac also has 6x speakers with support for Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos. Apple included an FHD camera so users can do FaceTime alongside its studio-quality 3x mic array.

The color options

Despite this hardware, the iMac M3 comes with a slim and minimalist design. Apple also claimed they are made of 100 percent recycled aluminum in the stand, with rear earth magnets and recycled tin soldering in multiple PCBs. The plating is also 100 percent recycled gold, something that you would see for the first time in an iMac.

Furthermore, you can see different color options such as Yellow, Orange, Purple, Blue, Green, Pink, and Silver.

For ports, the 8-core GPU version gets 2x TB3/USB4 ports, while the 10-core GPU variant gets 2 more USB-3 ports.

Do note you can still customize the memory configurations and the price may go up to PHP 200K+ depending on your preference.
