The talk of the tech world recently is the numerous issues surrounding the iPhone 15 Pro. The most controversial of them is its overheating problem.
According to a new report from Reuters, Apple is acknowledging those issues. The company said in a statement that they have identified a few issues which can cause new iPhones to run warmer than expected which includes a bug in the iOS 17 software.
The good news? Apple revealed that it will be fixed in an upcoming update.
The said bug fix will also not reduce the performance of the iPhone to address its temperature problems.
Apple said that the new iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max do not suffer from overheating due to the design contrary to earlier reports. Instead, the new titanium shells result in improved heat dissipation versus stainless steel models.
The Cupertino giant also claimed that the issue is not a safety or injury risk and will not impact the phone's long-term performance.
We are hoping that the update will really help in resolving those issues as the new iPhones are definitely cheap. In the Philippines, the iPhone 15 Pro starts at PHP 70,990 while the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a starting retail price tag of PHP 84,990.
