Lenovo Legion Go has officially been introduced to offer 'console-level' gaming with its AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor and a 144Hz 8.8-inch IPS screen.
After months of leaks and speculation, Lenovo has officially unveiled its take on the handheld gaming console market called the Legion Go.
The handheld features a large 8.8-inch IPS touch screen with a 2560 x 1600 resolution, a 500 nits peak brightness, a 144Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass protection.
With the controllers, the handheld measures 40.7 x 298.83 x 131mm and weighs 854 grams. The controllers feature a D-pad, ABXY buttons, L & R joy sticks, L & R bumpers, L & R analog triggers, Legion L & R buttons, R trackpad, L View button, L Menu button, 6x assignable grip buttons, Mouse wheel, Mouse sensor, 2x controller release, Haptics and 6-axis IMU Gyro. Each controller has a built-in 900mAh battery.
Inside the main module is the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme with RDNA Graphics, 16GB LPDDR5X 7500Mhz RAM soldered on board, 512GB/1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 2242 SSD, and a 2-cell 49.2WHr with Super Rapid Charge.
It features two W speakers and a dual-array near-field microphone.
For connectivity, the Legion Go comes with a headphone/microphone combo jack, two USB-C 4.0 (DisplayPort 1.4, Power Delivery 3.0), and a microSD card reader. It connects wirelessly through WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1.
Pre-loaded software includes Legion Space and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (3-month trial).
It comes in only Shadow Black colorway. Included in the box are the Legion Go, Controller Base, 65W power adapter and Carrying Case.

It is now available for pre-order in the United States. There is no word yet on International or Philippine availability and pricing.
