TECNO Pop 8 launched: 90Hz display, 5,000mAh battery, and Dynamic Island-like feature!

TECNO announces a presumably budget-centric yet stylish smartphone in the form of Pop 8.

TECNO Pop 8 launched!

One of the new things that TECNO brought here is its self-developed Dynamic Port which is a copycat to Apple's Dynamic Island. This will have useful notifications, charging status, and call status.

The features

Moving to its design, the TECNO Pop 8 comes with a minimalist square shape, and refreshing colors of Mystery White, Alpenglow Gold, Magic Skin, and Gravity Black.

When it comes to display it has a 6.6-inch LCD (IPS) panel with HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.

Inside, the phone uses a 12nm 2.0GHz UNISOC T606 chipset with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. It is paired with 3GB/4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage.

For cameras, it has a 13MP main shooter + AI sensor + 2 LED flash.

Other features are dual speakers with DTS sound and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Connectivity features are 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 13 (Go Edition).

Unfortunately, there's no official price yet but based on the "leaks" suggested, the TECNO Pop 8 may be priced at INR 7,000 or around PHP 4.7K if converted directly without tax and duties.
