A tease of what's to come?

The new member of the A-series features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 2,340 x 1,080 resolution, a 1,000 nits peak brightness and an eye-comfort mode.

What Samsung brings to focus is the unique embossed border design with four reasonably rounded edges that create a firm yet comfortable grip while allowing the side key and volume buttons to stand out. The brand is calling it the Key Island design.

Inside the new smartphone is the Exynos 1280 octa-core processor, Mali-G68 MP4 GPU, 6GB RAM, 128GB, microSD card storage expansion, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast wired charging.

At the back of the phone are the 50MP f/1.8 main camera with OIS, an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor with an LED flash. In front is the 13MP f/2.0 selfie shooter.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, 3.5mm audio jack, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G, 4G and NFC.

It measures 161 x 76.5 x 8.3mm and it weighs 197 grams.

Running the show is Android 13-based One UI 5.

Lastly, it will come in either Personality Yellow, Fantasy Blue, Optimistic Blue and Ban Linh Black.

It is not yet available for purchase in Vietnam but the product page on Samsung Vietnam's website is live. It should arrive in Vietnam this December 16, 2023.

There is no word yet on international or Philippine availability and pricing.
