itel Philippines recently updated its portfolio of ultra-affordable yet specs-rich smartphones in the country with the release of the itel P55 4G.

Compared to its 5G version with a 6nm MediaTek 6080 chip, the itel P55 4G features the 12nm UNISOC Tiger T606 octa-core processor to make its price even lower.

itel also boasts that the phone has a Composite Plate Design in Moonlit Black, Aurora Blue, and Brilliant Gold colors, a 6.6-inch 90Hz HD+ screen with Smart Dynamic Bar (like Dynamic Island), 8GB RAM + 16GB Extended RAM tech (24GB in total), 128GB expandable storage, and 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 18W fast charging.

For cameras, it uses a 50MP main shooter paired with an AI camera. The back camera has modes like Super Night Mode, AI Ultra Clear Portrait, Time-lapse Photography, and Pro Mode.
In front, it arrived with an 8MP snapper for selfies.
For software, the device arrived with Android 13 OS out of the box with itel OS skin on top. It also has the i-boost Game Booster for a "faster and smoother" gaming experience.
