DxOMark noted that the phone's readability is good under sunlight due to its peak brightness of 2600 nits which is a huge leap from the S23 Ultra's 1750 nits. Its anti-reflective glass helps in deepening the contrast to make the images appear vivid in challenging scenarios.

The benchmarking firm continued that these combined features allow the users to view the display in direct sunlight without having the need to find shady places or cover the screen with your palm to read what's in it. While performance was topnotch on outdoors, the screen's brightness was rather imprecise in other conditions. DXOMark says the test revealed that screen brightness might be too high at night and too low in inside circumstances.

For color fidelity and rendering, the phone also showed improvements over its predecessor again is evident on outdoor scenes. DxOMark mentioned that the S24 Ultra corrected the lack of color shades of its former variant. Furthermore, it said that viewing the panel at an angle would display a minimal shift to pink and green.

In terms of motion performance, DxOMark also gave the S24 Ultra a top score due to its remarkable handling of frame mismatches while watching videos. Moreover, the screen would adjust its refresh rate according to the video frame rate, thus eliminating judder.

Finally, DxOMark highlighted that the S24 Ultra's redesigned edged screen may have taken part in the improvements versus the S23 Ultra in terms of touch, and accuracy, however, there were scenarios of accidental touches when playing mobile games. Scrolling the web and viewing the pictures were both smooth experiences. Touch reactivity improved marginally over the S23 Ultra, which was already very good, the company noted.
