Infinix teases Flagship gaming phone concept, and tech innovations at MWC 2024!

The event has a theme of "Electrify Gaming Future". According to Infinix, their cutting-edge tech reshapes the mobile gaming experience through innovative features improved by AI.

The brand says, its upcoming mobile gaming device scored 2,215,639 points in the AnTuTu benchmark thanks to MediaTek's current flagship SoC 3.25GHz 4nm Dimensity 9300 8-core chip with Immortalis G720 GPU.

Apart from MTK's chip, it is also paired with a dedicated gaming chip with dual cores to further boost the gaming capabilities of the device.

In terms of display, Infinix claims it meets the expectations for outstanding display performance in smartphones by offering high screen refresh rates of up to 180Hz for FHD+ resolution and 144Hz for WQHD+ resolution, when combined with Pixelworks visual processors, to deliver an aesthetically appealing gaming experience.

The Industry's First Semiconductor and Air-Cooling System - CoolMax

The AI and Cooling system tech

Dubbed "CoolMax" this is the brand's revolutionary cooling solution that uses Thermal-Electric Cooling (TEC) and the Peltier effect to efficiently control the temperature of the device and disperse heat from its components. Infinix claims that this innovation reduces temperatures by up to 10 degrees Celsius thus optimizing the chipset's performance without compromising on overall system efficiency as claimed by Infinix.

Using fewer cores when visual demands are low, Infinix claims its AI technology saves energy by dynamically adjusting core utilization based on various conditions. It does this by intelligently assigning jobs to the most powerful core for optimal visual performance. By ensuring that the chipset runs at maximum efficiency without continuously at maximum power, this AI-driven optimization lowers temperature levels and reduces heat generation. AI integration improves gaming experiences while also assisting with efficient heat control and energy conservation.

E-Color Shift technology

Furthermore, the brand has showcased its Infinix E-Color Shift technology, the industry's first programmable custom skin tech allowing users to modify their devices based on their preference.

In addition, Infinix also displays AirCharge or AKA the brand's wireless charging technology with the potential for mass production thus promising a seamless charging experience.

Finally, Infinix also revealed the Extreme-Temp Battery, another first in the industry with the capability of withstanding extreme cold temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius.

For now, it doesn't have an official name yet but it seems that with this device, the phone maker is aiming with the same leagues as ROG, Black Shark, and RED MAGIC gaming smartphones.
