DxOMark: HONOR Magic6 Pro is the new camera king, scoring 158 points!

Independent camera testing body DxOMark earlier published the imaging score of the new HONOR Magic6 Pro. It is the highest in the world so yet.

At DxOMark, the device achieved a Photo score of 160, a Bokeh score of 85, a Preview score of 83, a Zoom score of 160, and a video score of 150. It also scored 148 for portraits and group photos and videos of friends and family and 134 in photos and videos in lowlight conditions.

Its average score is 158 points, making it the number 1 rated camera phone of the year so far.

HONOR Magic6 Pro bested the HUAWEI Mate 60 Pro+ and OPPO Find X7 Ultra with 158 points each. Its rating is also higher than the iPhone 15 Pro Max (154 points) and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (144 points).

DxoMark said that the device has vivid and natural colors in both photo and video, good detail at most zoom settings, fast and accurate autofocus in photos, nice portrait rendering, wide depth of field, and wide dynamic range.

Some cons include some artifacts when capturing high-contrast scenes, unnatural detail rendering, motion blur on portraits in very low light, and sharpness differences between video frames when walking while recording.

But overall, it is the top-ranking phone on the said ranking and gives a noticeable improvement over its predecessor Magic5 Pro.

To recap, the HONOR Magic6 Pro is equipped with a 50MP wide main shooter OVH9000 f/1.4-f/2.0 aperture main camera + 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide shooter + 180MP f/2.6 Periscope Telephoto with 2/5x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom, OIS. The selfie side has a 50MP front sensor + 3D depth helper.

Apart from Camera, the HONOR Magic6 Pro also topped DxOMark's Battery, Display, and Selfie Rankings.

Apart from its back cameras, the HONOR Magic6 Pro is also the world's top-scoring Selfie phone with an average score of 151 points.

The handset also bested everyone else in DxOMark's Battery and Display rankings.
