The new OPPO Find X7 Ultra has tied the HUAWEI Mate 60 Pro+ for the number 1 spot in DxOMark's camera ranking.

The handset recorded a Photo score of 156, a Bokeh score of 85, a Preview score of 79, a Zoom score of 156, and a Video score of 156.

The device also topped in use cases for Portrait and group photos and videos for Friends and Family and Lowlight photos and videos.

The result is it achieved an average camera score of 157 points, the highest alongside the HUAWEI Mate 60 Pro+. This also makes it the highest-rated Android camera phone yet (Mate 60 Pro+ uses HarmonyOS).

To place this high in this ranking, the OPPO Find X7 Ultra also surpassed the HUAWEI P60 Pro, Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the OPPO Find X6 Pro last year.

DxOMark said that the OPPO Find X7 Ultra is excellent for a wide range of photography, whether portraits of family and friends or landscapes, capturing many details. It also takes images with well-balanced colors and natural skin tones as well as high-quality images even in low light for photos and videos. It also has very good image details with a telephoto zoom.

The weaknesses are the ultra-wide shots might lack some detail, some unnatural details in the facial features when the subject is moving, and close-range zoom shots may lack fine details.

To achieve this feature, OPPO equipped the Find X7 Ultra with powerful camera specs.

It includes a 50MP f/1.8 Sony LYT-900 w/ 1G7P lens, OIS + 50MP f/2.0 123-degree ultra-wide-angle camera w/ 4cm macro + 50MP f/2.6 Sony LYT-600 3x periscope camera + 50MP f/4.3 Sony IMX858 6x periscope camera + LED flash at the back.

This camera system also has the  "HyperTone" engine designed to keep the photos you took natural-looking without compromising quality as well as professional Hasselblad portraits as well as a new generation of super light and shadow image engines and is the first  Android with dual-frame technology, increased shutter speed by 4x, and the industry's first HDR preview.
