Samsung announces its latest M-series device named the Galaxy M55 5G.
The new device features identical looks to its Galaxy siblings. Although Samsung has made some slight changes here like a bigger display, different chip, and even faster charging speed.
For display, it comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits of max brightness.
Inside, it is powered by the 2.5GHz 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB expandable storage, 5,000mAh battery, and 45W fast charging.
For cameras, it sports a 50MP primary sensor with OIS + 8MP ultra-wide camera + 2MP macro helper. For selfies, it has a 50MP front-facing camera as well.
Other features are an IP67 water and dust resistance rating, stereo speakers, and an In-Display fingerprint scanner.
Connectivity-wise, it has 5G, 4G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC and dual SIM.
For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with One UI 6.1 skin on top. Samsung also promises 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security patches.

The phone is currently available for pre-order in Brazil. No word yet if Samsung will bring this here.
