Reading the letter, HUAWEI thanked its consumer for their valiant support since the inception of P-Series. It noted that this particular lineup has captured a great number of memories and will continue to do so with the rebranding to the Pura Series.

HUAWEI noted that this upgraded lineup brings next-level mobile imaging and attractive design.

Below is the brand upgrade letter of HUAWEI P Series to the Pura Series addressed to its valued consumers:

To recall, the lineup comprises three smartphones brought here in PH which are the Pura 70, 70 Pro, and 70 Ultra all of which feature sophisticated camera technology.

Former CEO, now HUAWEI Consumer Group Chairman Richard Yu has stated that the shift meant embodying the concept of high-end, ultimate, simplicity and purity while also bringing technology, fashion, and art.

Anyways, the Pura 70 features a 120Hz 6.6-inch Kunlun-glass 2nd gen protected LTPO OLED panel with 300Hz, touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, and FHD+ 2760 x 1256 resolution.

It comes with 12GB/256GB memory configurations, a 4900mAh battery with 66W SuperCharge, 50W Wireless SuperCharge, and 7.5W wireless reverse charging.

In terms of imaging, it has 50MP f/1.4~f/4.0 with super-focus and OIS + 13MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle + 12MP f/3.4 5x periscope zoom with OIS.

The Pura 70 Ultra

Next is the Pura 70 Pro which features a slightly curved 6.8-inch Kunlun-glass 2nd gen protected LTPO OLED screen w/ 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, and FHD+ 2844 x 1260 resolution at 460 ppi. 

It also has 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It also has a large 5,050mAh battery capacity with USB-C 100W SuperCharge, 80W Wireless SuperCharge, and 20W Wireless Reverse Charging.

As for cameras, the phone features  50MP f/1.4~f/4.0 with super-focus, OIS + 12.5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle + 48MP f/2.1 3.5x periscope zoom with OIS and macro.

The top-end variant Pura 70 Ultra comes with a tougher 6.8-inch Basalt tempered Kunlun glass-protected LTPO OLED screen w/ 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, FHD+ 2844 x 1260 resolution.

It also has 16GB/512GB memory configurations, a 5200mAh battery with 100W SuperCharge, 50W wireless, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging.

For cameras, it has a 1-inch 50MP f/1.6~f/4.0 primary sensor with super-focus, OIS + 40MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle + 50MP f/2.1 3.5x periscope zoom with OIS and macro.

These three also use the Ultra Lighting camera system, which is integrated with the industry's first HUAWEI XD Motion Engine, which supports the Ultra Speed Snapshot feature and allows for easy capturing of fast-moving situations.

The HUAWEI Pura 70 Pro and HUAWEI Pura 70 Ultra both include the Ultra Lighting Macro Telephoto Camera, which provides superior light-gathering ability and telephoto image quality to deliver full focal HD photography over the entire focal length.

Finally, the Ultra variants also feature a retractable camera with a thin size yet with a 1-inch image sensor and large aperture fitted in its small body.
