REDMAGIC 9S Pro (Global) launched: SD8G3 Leading Version, 6,500mAh battery, improved cooling

After the China variant announcment, the Global version of REDMAGIC 9S Pro was also unveiled.

REDMAGIC 9S Pro (Global) announced!

To recall, it features an overclocked edition of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 a reason why it has a Leading Version after its name. The max clock speed is now boosted to 3.4GHz from 3.3GHz while the GPU operates at 1GHz clock speed.

REDMAGIC also shared its AnTuTu score points with 2,369,542 score surpassing the current leading ROG 8 Pro in the rankings of the said benchmark firm.

Another highlight is the enhanced cooling system, which ensures that the chip maintains top performance. It boasts a redesigned ICE 13.5 cooling system with a vapor chamber of 10,182mm2 and a new cooling gel to reduce thermal resistance.

It is also accompanied by REDMAGIC's renowned 22,000 RPM active cooling fan, which can reduce the temperature of the SoC by a stunning 19.5 degrees Celsius.

The design and display

In front, it has a 6.8-inch flat OLED BOE Q9+ panel with 2480 x 1116 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 2,000Hz instant touch sampling rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 1,600 nits peak brightness, 2,160Hz PWM dimming. Furthermore, it also has a 16MP under-display selfie camera.

Anyways, the chip is paired with 12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, 6,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

For cameras, it has a 50MP Samsung GN5 main sensor + 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera + 2MP macro helper + LED flash.

Other features are a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra, 3x microphones, and shoulder triggers.

Connectivity features are 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6E (2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with REDMAGIC OS 9.5.
