HUAWEI tri-fold confirmed to launch on September 10

HUAWEI is set to unveil the world's first tri-fold smartphone on September 10.

HUAWEI will showcase its tri-fold device next week

In early August, HUAWEI Consumer Business Group Chairman was spotted using the tri-fold smartphone inside an airplane. Fast forward to September, and it seems we have less than a week to see what is behind this upcoming technological marvel from the brand.

For now, HUAWEI has stayed silent about its information, except for the obvious that it uses a Z-type fold with three creases to manage each display.

With that said, rumor says it can go as big as a 10-inch tablet when completely unfolded. Although its measurements are still unknown when folded.

Other reports suggest it will be powered by a Kirin 9 Series chip which is the same on the upcoming Mate 70 Series.

Furthermore, reports also suggest we may just see a product demo as the device is still a prototype.
