Based on several online posts, Infinix might soon introduce its first foldable smartphone called the "ZERO Flip".
Based on the alleged teasers, the device will feature a 3.64-inch Cover Screen and a 120Hz refresh rate folding display. The foldable panel will also have a "Zero-Gap-Hinge" with "Minimal Screen Crease" for a distraction-free viewing experience.
Despite being a foldable flip phone, it might be targeted for creators. According to the poster, it can record up to 4K Vlogs with "ProStable Video Capabilities". If true, this is one of the very few foldable flip phones with the ability to record up to 4K videos.
The device will also come with certifications from DTS, Hi-Res, and TUV, among others. Corning's logo was also spotted suggesting that its display will be protected by Gorilla Glass.
Last June, the device was also certified by FCC. It has a model number X6962 and will come with 8GB RAM, 512GB internal storage, and 70W USB-C fast wired charging. The handset will also come with a dual-cell 3,410 and 1,180mAh battery which is quite large for a flip folding smartphone.
It will be available in a Titanium Black colorway measuring 170 x 73.4 x 7.64mm when unfolded and 87.49 x 73.4 x 16.93 when folded.
Of course, it will come with 5G connectivity.
The handset is expected to launch in most of the countries where Infinix is available.
There is no word regarding its pricing yet. But, it is expected to be a mid-range foldable flip phone.
What do you guys think?
