Xiaomi 14T launched in PH: Dimensity 8300-Ultra 5G, 144Hz AMOLED, Leica cameras, Advanced AI, PHP 26K starting price

Xiaomi has introduced the 14T series equipped with Leica Summilux lenses, MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra 5G, 144Hz AMOLED and 67W charging.

The vanilla variant of the Xiaomi 14T series features a premium polycarbonate and glass body that is IP68 water and dust-resistant. It measures 75.1 x 160.5 x 7.8mm (glass)/7.5mm (PU).

It features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 2,712 x 1,220 resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 4000 nits peak brightness, and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. It supports 3,840Hz PWM dimming, Dolby Vision and HDR10+.

Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra, Mali G-615 GPU, MediaTek 780 NPU, 12GB LPDDR5X 8,533Mbps RAM, 256GB UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W HyperCharge via USB-C. The battery is rated for 1,600 battery cycles and it has the Surge G1 battery management chipset.

It comes with the Leica Vario-Summilux 1:1.7-2.2/15-50 ASPH lenses. At the back are the 50MP f/1.7 main camera with 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX906 sensor and OIS, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP f/1.9 2x Telephoto with an LED flash. While in front is the 32MP f/2.0 selfie camera. The rear camera can capture up to 4K 60fps while the selfie camera can capture 4K 30fps video.

Like previous generation phones with the Leica collaboration, the stock camera app comes with the Leica Master-Lens system including the 35mm, 50mm, 75mm and the 90mm. It also comes with the Leica filters including Vivid, Natura, Black & White Natural, Black and White High Contrast, Sepia and Blue.

Other features include WiFi 6E, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.4, stereo speakers, 2-MIC microphones, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res, and Hi-Res Wireless.

Running the show is Android 14-based HyperOS.

Xiaomi is working with Google to bring AI to the 14T series. The phones come with Google, Gemini, Magic Compose, and Gemini in Google Messages. Other AI features include AI Interpreter, AI Notes, AI Recorder, AI Subtitles, AI Film, AI image editing, and AI Portrait.

In the Philippines, the Xiaomi 14T is available in either Titan Black, Titan Blue, Titan Gray, or Lemon Green (PU).
