vivo Y300 launched: Drop resistant, IP64 rating, 6,500mAh battery

Apart from the Pro variant, vivo now announced a base Y300 model.

A new durable and water-resistant phone from vivo

This comes with three stylish designs available in Black, White and highlight Green color. Meanwhile, the phone also sports an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance as well as SGS five-star drop and fall certification.

In front, it has a 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 1800 nits peak brightness, and Diamond Shield glass protection.

It also sports a 2.4GHz 6nm Dimensity 6300 8-core chip with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB/12GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage.

The device also comes with a large 6,500mAh battery and charges using USB-C and 44W flash charge.

For cameras, it sports a 50MP Samsng SK5JNS sensor with an OIS + 2MP depth helper.

Other features noted are a 3x speaker matrix with 3D panoramic audio.

Connectivity features are 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone has Android 14 with OriginOS 5 skin on top.

The phone is now available to order in China. However, there's no info yet regarding PH availability.
