HONOR X9c 5G now official in PH: Extra-tough build, 6,600mAh massive battery, PHP 16,999 price tag

It's finally here. HONOR today officially launched the much-hyped HONOR X9c 5G in the Philippines.

HONOR X9c 5G's back design

Now better and more durable than ever

Coming from the similarly viral HONOR X9b 5G last year, the new HONOR X9c 5G offers even better durability feats (see here for more info) and stronger overall specifications including a new battery technology.

A more durable display

In particular, it uses an All-Angle Triple Defense body with back-to-b-back double tempered glass, under-screen shock-absorbing material, and a 3-layer Water-Resistant Structure with IP65M dust and moving water protection.

From 5,800mAh, the battery is now a 6,600mAh Silicon-Carbon battery for longer battery life. The charging speed via USB-C has now almost doubled in speed from 35W to 66W as well.

Moreover, it now has stereo speakers from just a single speaker for a better overall multimedia experience.

The resolution of its 6.78-inch display was slightly upgraded to 2700 x 1224 resolution, but the chip remains the same with the 2.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 octa-core processor.

But HONOR claims that the phone now has better optimizations to improve its performance coming from its predecessor.

The cameras

For cameras, it uses a 108MP f/1.75 main camera. But now, it has OIS to help minimize shake when taking photos and videos.
