New but old?

The chip still uses 6nm fabrication from TSMC. The slight difference comes from 2x prime cores Cortex-A76 running at 2.5GHz while the remaining Cortex-A55 are clocked at 2.0GHz.

In the graphics department, it still packs the same Mali-G57 MC2 GPU which should provide enough power for casual games and media consumption.

For display, it supports up to 2520 x 1080 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

On the imaging side, its ISP can handle up to 108MP, dual cameras of 16MP + 16MP, and 3D LUT color management. Apparently, the chipmaker didn't mention significant enhancements for computation photography.

The SoC supports LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage clocked at 2133MHz as expected on entry mid-range chips.

Just like the predecessor, it has SA/NSA 5G support, dual 5G SIM, 3.3Gbps peak download speed, carrier aggregation, and dual VoNR for areas with weak signals.

It also has WiFi 5 (2.4GHz/5GHz) with a 1T1R antenna, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC.

Fans may expect the realme P3x 5G to be the first device to use the Dimensity 6400 processor launching on February 18.

What do you guys think?
