Starlink rolls out price hikes in PH

The monthly subscription cost for Starlink's Residential plan has increased to PHP 3,800 from PHP 2,700 a month.

This plan is for personal or household use at a fixed, land-based location in select areas. It includes unlimited data, with speeds ranging from 150 Mbps to 250 Mbps.

Starlink also announced a price hike for Roam Unlimited, which is now priced at PHP 5,700 a month.

This plan has no data cap and countrywide coverage, including inland waterways and marinas. In-motion use is permitted at speeds up to 100 mph (160 kph), regardless of hardware.

According to Starlink's announcement, the price increase took effect on May 16. Current customers "will receive a service credit equal to the difference in price," which will be applied to their next invoice.

For the new customers, the price hike is effective immediately.
