China's leading display maker, BOE, launched the ADS Pro (Advanced Super Dimension Switch). It's an LCD panel aiming to deliver premium screen experiences on non-OLED smartphones.

The new panel features a 6.74-inch 1.5K 2720 x 1224 resolution with crisp 443 pixels per inch. The source said that BOE claims that it has a visual clarity comparable to 600 ppi OLED panels.
Moreover, it has support for both 120Hz and 144Hz with a 30 to 144Hz fixed variable refresh rate and up to 1,500 nits of peak brightness while reducing power consumption by 20 percent versus other LCD panels.
