OPPO A5i Pro 5G launched: Dimensity 6300, 120Hz HD+ screen, 50MP main camera, and 6,000mAh battery
A 5G variant of the OPPO A5i Pro was introduced in Malaysia nearly a month after the launch of 4G only OPPO A5i variants in the Philippines.

Affordable and capable 5G OPPO phone
In early August, OPPO silently released the OPPO A5i series in the Philippines. Both variants are 4G only. Nearly a month later, the brand introduced the new OPPO A5i Pro 5G in Malaysia.
The new A5i Pro 5G comes in either Breeze Blue or Midnight Purple colorways. It has a vertical rectangle camera module at the back. It measures 165.71 x 76.24 x 7.99mm and weighs 194 grams. It is IP65 dust and water resistance rated and is MIL-STD-810H certified.
In front of the new phone is a 6.67-inch LCD screen with a 1,604 x 720 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. It supports 8-bit color and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor, ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2, and a 6,000mAh battery with 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging via USB-C.
At the back of the phone is a 50MP f/1.8 main camera and a 2MP f/2.4 monochrome camera with an LED flash. While on the punch hole is the 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
Other features include a fingerprint sensor, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, 3.5mm audio jack, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and Nano-SIM support.

It is now available for purchase in Malaysia through OPPO's website and authorized retailers.
There is no word yet on Philippine availability and pricing.
