TECNO SPARK Slim and POVA Slim 5G pack 5,160mAh Battery in ultra-thin under 5.95mm bodies

Ahead of its reveal this week, more details about the SPARK Slim and POVA Slim 5G emerged.

These two are ultra-slim mid-rangers, impressively measuring under 5.95mm.

The TECNO POVA Slim arrived in a 5.93mm slim body weighing just 156 grams. While slightly thicker than the 5.75mm frame of the SPARK Slim concept phone showcased last MWC 2025, this feature is still very impressive.

Meanwhile, the POVA Slim 5G is nearly as slim at 5.95mm. 

The components

The company reportedly reworked its internal components from battery, speaker, SIM slot, and USB-C connector, to make this possible, measuring just 0.45mm.

Both use a 5,160mAh battery measuring 4.04mm, and this is considered large for super slim phones. In comparison, the Galaxy Edge with 5.8mm thickness only has a 3,900mAh battery.

The two also come with a vapor chamber measuring 0.3mm thick, as well as TECNO's Honeycomb space stacking technology to maximize space efficiency, and an aerospace-grade fiberglass back cover at 0.36mm slim.

SPARK Slim

For specs, the POVA Slim uses a 6nm MTK Helio G200 processor. The POVA Slim 5G packs the 6nm Dimensity 6400 SoC.

Both phones are equipped with an IP64 dust and water resistance, curved 144Hz AMOLED screens with 4,500 nits peak brightness, 45W fast charging, 10W reverse wired charging, 50MP main camera, and Android 15 OS with HiOS skin and TECNO AI.

The SPARK Slim comes with a Moon Light LED bar with multi-scene lighting effects as well as special animations for notifications.

The company is expected to reveal the official price and availability details of both phones this week.
