HUAWEI Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design launched: Kirin 9030 Pro, 120Hz 6.9-inch Dual-layer OLED, and 50MP quad rear cameras
HUAWEI introduced its Mate 80 Series, including the top of the top-of-the-line Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design, equipped with the Kirin 9030 Pro and 6,000mAh battery.

The new Pinaccle of the Mate series
The new flagship features a high-brightness titanium mid-frame and a 3rd generation basalt tempered kunlun glass. It measures 164.4 x 79 x 8.25 mm and weighs 249 grams. The body is IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance rated.
In front is the 6.9-inch dual-layer OLED with a 2,848 x 1,320 resolution, a 1-120Hz refresh rate, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. It supports 1.07 billion colors and covers the BT.2020 gamut.
Inside the phone is the Kirin 9030 Pro, 20GB RAM, 512GB/1TB internal storage, nanoSIM, eSIM, and a 6,000mAh battery with a 100W SuperCharge wired fast charging, an 18W reverse wired charging, and 80W Wireless SuperCharge via USB-C.
It has a 13MP f/2.0 ultra-wide selfie camera with 3D Depth sensing. While at the back are the 50MP f/1.4-4.0 ultra-dynamic range main camera with OIS, and RYYB sensor, a 40MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera with RYYB sensor, a 50MP f/2.1 Macro Telephoto camera, and a 50MP f/3.2 super telephoto with RYYB sensor and OIS, with an LED flash, Laser AF and 2nd generation Red Maple Color. It supports 4x and 6.2x optical zoom, 12.4x hybrid zoom, and 100x digital zoom.
Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, Tiantong & Beidou Satellite, 3D Face Scanning, Side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Gyroscope, Compass, Barometer, Infrared, Hall, Ambient Light, Proximity, Color Temperature, Gravity Attitude, and HUAWEI Histen Stereo.
Running the show is HarmonyOS 6.0, and the phone will come in either Hibiscus Purple, Black, or White.

It will be available for purchase in China this November 28, 2025, through HUAWEI Mall, Authorized e-commerce platforms, and HUAWEI Experience Stores nationwide.
There is no word yet on international or Philippine availability and pricing.
