Global REDMI Note 15 5G and 4G launched: 120Hz AMOLED, 108MP rear main camera, and Silicon Carbon battery

The REDMI Note 15 Series has gone global, with the vanilla version coming in both 4G and 5G variants that are nearly identical.

Next generation REDMI is now global

In August 2025, REDMI introduced the new NOTE 15 Series in China. Several months later, the brand is officially introducing the REDMI Note 15 Series for the global market including the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G.

The vanilla REDMI Note 15 comes in both 4G and 5G versions with very similar design including the curved rear, curved front panels and the squarish rear camera module.

Both variants feature a curved 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with a FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 3,200 nits peak brightness and an integraed optical fingerprint scanner.

The 4G only variant features the immortal MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra octa-core processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB/512GB of storage, and a 6,000mAh Silicon Carbon battery with 33W Fast wired charging. It is IP64 dust and water resistance rated.

The 5G only variant is coming with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 octa-core processor, 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/25GB/512GB of storage, and a 5,520 mah Silicon Carbon battery with 45W Fast charging. It is IP66 dust and water resistnace rated.

At the back of the 5G variant are the 108MP main camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an LED Flash.

While the 4G variant has the same 108MP main camera but with a 2MP secondary depth sensor.

In front of both phones is the 20MP selfie camera.

Both phones are running Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0.

Lastly, the 4G variant comes in either Glacier Blue, Purple, Forest Green or Black colorways while the 5G variant cmes in either Glacier Blue, Mist Purple or Black colorways.

Pre-orders of the REDMI Note 15 Series in Europe are expected to begin on January 5, 2025.

There is no word yet on Philippine availability and pricing.
