Three different tipsters from Weibo posted legitimate-looking press renders of a yet-to-be-announced variant of the Honor Magic8 series.

Clearly inspired by another brand?
Recently, HONOR introduced the Power2, which suspiciously looked similar to a Pro variant smartphone launched in September 2025. Now, in early 2026, the brand will apparently continue this trend but with another member of that smartphone series.

The same 3 Weibo tipsters are claiming that the new smartphone will be called the HONOR Magic8 Pro Air. It will be 6.1mm thick and weigh 155 grams.
The main camera will supposedly be a 50MP camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor. Not much else is none about the other two sensors. It will also come with a 5,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W fast charging.
Previous reports claim that it will supposedly come with a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen and a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset.
It is expected to launch in China later this month, and it will apparently come in either black, white, purple, or orange colorways.
Not much else is known about the product.
