Digital Walker: OnePlus 15R will be available in the Philippines soon

Local gadgets retail powerhouse Digital Walker yesterday confirmed on its social media pages that the OnePlus 15R is coming to the Philippines.

OnePlus 15R is coming to the Philippines!

To recap, the OnePlus 15R is a promising premium mid-range smartphone designed to offer a range of high-end capabilities without the flagship price tag.

Digital Walker's teaser revealed that it has a similar design to the global OnePlus 15R available in Charcoal Black and Mint Breeze colors. It also highlighted that the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Series chip and will come with OnePlus AI technologies.

Our hunch is that this is likely similar to the global OnePlus 15R with a OnePlus 15-like design, IP66/68/69/69K dust and water resistance, 8.1mm slimness, and 215 grams weight.

In front, the phone uses a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 3200Hz touch sampling rate (with 3200Hz Touch Response chip), 1,800 nits peak brightness, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and an In-Display fingerprint reader.

The processor is likely the Qualcomm 3.8GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, and a large 7,400mAh battery capacity with USB-C 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging support.

This has a 4-year battery health and works at high performance even at -20 degrees Celsius. It could be charged from 1 to 50 percent in 22 minutes and has Bypass Charging.

Keeping the thermal ink check is its 360-degree Cryo-Velocity Cooling System with  5,704mm² 3D vapor chamber and "aerospace-grade" aerogel insulation.

Not to be left behind, the phone has a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary camera with OIS paired with an 8MP ultra-wide shooter and the OnePlus DetailMax Engine imaging technology.

In front, it uses a 32MP sensor with autofocus for selfies. The device also has stereo speakers, an IR Blaster remote control, WiFi 7 (WiFi G2 chip), 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, and Android 16 OS with OxygenOS 16 skin on top with a plethora of AI features for productivity and more.
