Affordable Hi-Res earbuds?

The realme Buds Air8 features Master Design by Naoto Fukasawa, highlighted by an elegant square case with metallic accents. It is available in Master Gold, Master Purple, and Master Grey finishes.

realme says it utilizes a dual-driver audio system, pairing an 11mm driver with a 6mm driver. This setup is complemented by support for the LHDC 5.0 lossless codec and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification, which the company states is designed to deliver highly detailed sound.

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is rated for a reduction of up to 55dB, with a frequency coverage extending to 5000Hz to target low- and mid-frequency noise.

The features

For voice calls, the earbuds incorporate a six-microphone array with dedicated call noise reduction.

The company claims a total battery life of up to 58 hours with the charging case when ANC is off. The Buds Air8 also carries an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.

Other features include a 45ms low-latency mode for gaming and AI-powered real-time translation functions.
