Bigger partnership with MLBB and Infinix

The collaboration will see the company serve as Presenting Partner of the MLBB Professional League (MPL) Indonesia and Titling Partner of the MLBB Development League (MDL) Indonesia. Infinix will also continue as the official sponsor of the MLBB Super League (MSL) Thailand.

The initiative is intended to support competitive gaming infrastructure and community engagement across multiple Southeast Asian markets.

Regional Expansion

Building on prior collaborations in the Philippines and Malaysia, Infinix will extend its support to several key esports leagues in the region. The company will serve as Presenting Partner for MPL Indonesia Season 17 and Titling Partner for MDL Indonesia Season 13, as well as Official Sponsor for the inaugural MSL Thailand Season 1.

Support will include the provision of tournament-grade hardware and localized fan engagement programs.

The competitive season begins March 20, with Infinix supporting the opening matches of MPL Philippines and MSL Myanmar as the Official Gaming Phone. MPL Indonesia Season 17 launches March 27, followed by MDL Indonesia on March 30. As Presenting Partner of MPL Indonesia, Infinix will present the season champions with the "KINGFINIX" title.

Subsequent league starts include MPL Malaysia and MPL Cambodia on April 3, and MSL Thailand on April 18.

Adrian Cher, Global Head of Partnerships for MLBB Esports at MOONTON Games, noted the importance of maintaining consistent competitive conditions across the region’s mobile esports ecosystem. He described the partnership as part of efforts to ensure players have access to the required infrastructure.

Community and Engagement Initiatives

The partnership includes several programs aimed at expanding fan and player involvement:

  • Fan Club Tournaments: Competitions for official MPL team supporters, modeled after the MPL PH FANsiklaban, using Infinix GT series devices.
  • AIoT Integration: Infinix AIoT products will be incorporated into tournament environments for game analysis and broadcast segments.
  • Infinix Campus Cup 2026: An inter-school esports competition featuring offline matches on Infinix devices, supported by on-ground activations.
  • Gaming Master Classes: Campus-based sessions co-presented with MLBB Esports, offering students hands-on learning about the gaming industry using Infinix devices.

These initiatives are designed to support connections between professional competition, community engagement, and the development of emerging esports talent in the region.
