Insta360 introduced its flagship Luna Ultra compact gimbal camera with Leica co-engineered dual lenses that start at PHP 46,790 in the Philippines.

The Luna Ultra sports a compact, modern build that slips easily into a pocket or bag. It measures 52.4 x 169.9 x 38.5mm and weighs 235 grams. It comes in either Cosmic Black or Stellar White. Its standout feature is the detachable 2-inch OLED touch screen that twists for quick framing and doubles as a wireless remote and microphone for solo shooters. It works up to 20 meters away with HD transmission and the built-in mic. 

Insta360 says that it is built for real-life use and features a robust construction with a 3-axis mechanical gimbal system for buttery-smooth stabilization. It includes a pre-installed wind guard to keep audio clean outdoors and supports direct connections to Insta360's Mic series for better sound.

At its heart is the Triple AI chip and the Leica Summicron dual-lens setup. The first camera is a 20mm equivalent with a 1-inch sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, and the next is the 60mm equivalent with a 1/1.3-inch sensor and an f/2.0 aperture. This combination delivers up to 6x lossless zoom and up to 12x digital zoom.

It can record up to 8K (7,680 x 4,320) at 30fps, 4K at 120fps, and 1080p at 240fps slow motion. It supports Dolby Vision, 10-bit I-Log for prograding, and PureVideo mode for low light. The Luna Ultra features 4 microphones  (3 on the main body and 1 on the detachable screen).

It takes up to 37MP UltraPhoto stills and up to 200MP scenic Panorama.

Photos and images can be stored in the internal 47GB storage and in the microSD card slot. It supports up to 1TB microSD cards.

Powering the camera is a 1,550mAh battery that is rated for 4 hours of recording, and it supports fast PD charging. Insta360 claims that users will get 80 percent battery in 23 minutes. 

Its Deep Track 5.0 AI keeps subjects locked in frame, even with group tracking or active zoom. Leica-tuned color profiles such as Natural, Chrome, and Vivid come pre-installed.
