Compact printer, bigger production power

Epson has expanded its SureColor V-Series lineup with the launch of the SureColor V4000.

With the SC-V4000, we are expanding our UV printer portfolio to support customers who need professional flatbed capabilities in a more compact form, said Noelle Gonzalez, Head of Marketing and Customer Service, Epson Philippines Corporation (EPC).

Demand for on-demand merchandise and custom signage is rising across Southeast Asia Pacific, prompting more businesses to produce personalized goods. Epson's newest UV printer responds to this shift with a UV flatbed solution built to balance image quality, output, and operational performance, letting companies bring more production in-house without sacrificing consistency.

Aimed at businesses working with larger formats, thicker materials, and heavier production demands, the SC-V4000 broadens Epson's UV flatbed range to serve a wider set of commercial applications. It supports A1+ print sizes and media up to 20cm thick, allowing businesses to produce signage, display graphics, and rigid items like phone cases or notebooks in-house, reducing reliance on outsourcing and extra production steps.

The SC-V4000 follows the SC-V7000 as Epson's next commercial-grade printer in its UV flatbed large-format lineup. Built with space efficiency in mind, it offers a print area larger than standard A1 machines, making it a good fit for businesses that need full UV production capability without a large footprint.

To keep pace with growing visual demands, the SC-V4000 features a 10-color UltraChrome UV ink set, including grey, red, white, and varnish. This widens the color gamut, smooths gradients, and reduces graininess, while enabling creative finishes like textured effects, gloss highlights, and layered printing on various rigid substrates.

The printer also delivers crisp 2-point text and fine-line reproduction, ensuring sharp output even for demanding graphic and signage work.

Its white and varnish inks add further creative flexibility, letting businesses differentiate their output through added visual depth and surface effects.

On speed, the SC-V4000 prints up to 4.6 square meters per hour, supporting higher workloads. Paired with its larger A1+ flatbed area, it can produce multiple items or boards in a single run, improving throughput while making efficient use of floor space.
