The OPPO F5 is clearly ahead on paper, it has Gorilla Glass 5 protection, bigger and modern screen, slightly speedier processor, better selfie camera, facial recognition, gyroscope sensor, newer OS version, and cheaper price tag.
But, this specs fight is closer than a lot of people think. The Xperia XA1 Plus has tougher metal build, sharper resolution, 23MP back camera, bigger battery capacity, quick charging tech, HiFi audio, and NFC.
Other than that, both has the same RAM and ROM size.
Sony, can compete and it is a good option for those who wanted a good point and shoot photography phone in the mid-range smartphone segment.
