Both are really really good smartphones based on specs. Yes, even in actual performance, I can say that both are outstanding and really flagship grade as well.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is for those who need a proven phablet for productivity, thanks to its reliable S Pen. It is also the slightly bigger phone w/ more RAM, better front cameras, and HiFi audio support.
On the other hand, the Huawei Mate 10, even the regular variant, is extremely promising for the price! Even for PHP 17K less, it has the premium build, specs, features, and cameras that can go toe to toe w/ the mighty Galaxy Note 8.
It even has NPU for artificial intelligence, newer GPU, bigger battery capacity, higher dual camera specs, and more updated Android Oreo OS out of the box compared w/ the Galaxy Note 8.
Based on specs, the Mate 10 can really compete w/ the Note 8 so far!
