PLDT solidifies partnership with Zenlayer to deliver SD-WAN to PH

PLDT is partnering up with Zenlayer to roll out software-defined wider area network or SD-WAN technology to the PH market by the second quarter of 2018.

PLDT and Zenlayer works on SD-WAN tech in Philippines

SD-WAN technology will look to make connections between enterprise networks, data centers and cloud storages faster and more reliable. This, in turn, will allow their customers to access information on the go without worrying about geographical limitations since it will have a "powerful and secure" cloud platform.

PLDT chose Zenlayer to help them provide their customers with a dynamic bandwidth solution that will allow them to connect and sync different applications and workloads with their other offices and data centers. It has been a big demand to have international inter-office and inter-cloud connectivity and this is PLDT's answer to that.
