Like all Spigen Rugged Armor cases, the company used the drop-tested MIL-STD 810G rated sturdy rubber material on this case. It also has the company's Air Cushion technology which aims to provide "maximum protection" for your phone.

As expected, the case is also elevated slightly on the top part to add protection on P20 Pro's screen. Buttons are also easy to press and perfecly molded. All the holes for the ports, microphone, and IR blaster are rightly placed.
The grip is also great on this one. It is not slippery to hold and it has extra textured stripes below the camera part and at the bottom of the phone.
It has no sharp edges as well. We also noticed that the material that Spigen used is a bit softer compared to the Spigen Mate 10 case. It is one of the minor gripe that we had on that case last time.
However, this case will hide the true beauty of the phone. We hope that Spigen will make a rugged clear case for this device.

But overall, this is a legit solid case from Spigen. It can really protect the P20 Pro from accidental drops.
