Xiaomi to launch the Redmi Note 5 in PH soon!

In a Facebook post, Mi Philippines teased that the Redmi Note 4's successor is coming. It could only mean one thing, the Redmi Note 5 will arrive locally soon!

However, we are not yet sure what type of Redmi Note 5 will Xiaomi bring in the country. In case yoiu missed it, there are 3 types of Redmi Note 5 phones.

Note: Redmi Note 5 is the same with Redmi 5 Plus which is already available in the country for PHP 9,990.

First is the regular Redmi Note 5 with 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 screen, Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, 3GB or 4GB RAM, 32GB or 64GB storage, 4,000mAh battery, and 12MP f/2.2 back camera, 5MP selfie camera, fingerprint scanner, IR Blaster, 4G LTE w/ VoLTE, and Android 7.1.2 Nougat w/ MIUI 9.

The second one is the Redmi Note 5 Pro. It's the higher-end Note 5 packed with the same 5.99-inch screen, but with the newer 1.8GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor and Adreno 509 GPU. It also has a 12MP + 5MP dual camera setup and 20MP front facing camera.

The 3rd is the Redmi Note 5 Pro A.I. phone. It has the same 1.8GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor found on the Redmi Note 5 Pro, but it has up to 6GB RAM. It also has a more powerful 12MP f/1.9 + 5MP f/2.0 back camera and an A.I. powered 13MP selfie shooter. Its 4,000mAh battery also has Quick Charge 3.0 tech.

We also don't know the price and exact date of availability of the Redmi Note 5 phones yet.
