Vivo NEX A with 6.59-inch real bezel-less screen and Snapdragon 710 SoC announced!

Aside from the NEX S, Vivo also launched the NEX A, the mid-range variant of the almost bezel-less flagship smartphone of the global Chinese brand.

The more affordable bezel-less beast!

Like the NEX S, the NEX A boasts a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and notchless 91.24 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Under the hood, it uses Qualcomm's new 10 nm 64-bit Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz paired with Adreno 616 GPU. It also has large 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging solution.

On the camera part, it goes with the same dual camera sensor found on the NEX S.  It has a 12MP f/1.8 Sony IMX363 sensor paired with a secondary 5MP f/2.4 lens. It also has PDAF focus, OIS, and LED flash.

For selfies, you'll find the 8MP f/2.0 pop-up selfie shooter that automatically rises when needed and hides when not.

One of the key differences between the NEX S and NEX A are the fingerprint scanning solutions used. The higher-end NEX S has the new In-Display fingerprint scanner while the NEX A has the traditional fingerprint scanner found at the back of the phone.

The NEX A also has the AK4376A DAC instead of the CS43199 + SSM6322 HiFi amplifiers found on the higher-end NEX S.

As expected, it boots with Android 8.1 Oreo OS with FunTouch 4.0 skin and AI.

It has the AI-powered Energy UI and Jovi AI dedicated hardware button. Vivo also partnered with Tencent, NetEase and Unreal for system-level SDK optimization to improve gaming experience through their own Game Mode 4.0.

The phone will come in star diamond black with holographic technology and ruby red color with micro crystal technology on the back.
